Whenever we think about Maldives, almost 100% of people
think about the water bungalow in clear sea water and beautiful beaches with
too expensive for the trip. But you know…there is another way that you can
touch Maldives with budget trip. Let say you spend less money but you can get
more. How??? Please do not hesitate to follow me right now.
5 Jul 17 : Start
trip at Donmuang International Airport (BKK) Thailand to KL, Malaysia by
AirAsia at 12.00-3.10 pm. Then, KL to Male at 6.55-8.10 pm. After that, we take
a bus about 10-15 minutes to the hotel in Hulhumale. We stay in G10 beach inn
for 1 night and we just walk about 3-5 minutes to see sunrise and enjoy on the
beach.
6 Jul 17 : We check out about
11.00 am. and walk pass the public park to take public ferry about 20 minutes
to Male then take a taxi to speedboat station to catch the speedboat at 1.30
pm. Our destination is Baa Maalhos that
take time about 2-3 hours by speedboat and also depend on the weather too. They
have speedboat to there on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Anyway, you can fly
about 20 minutes to the domestic airport and take speedboat about 10 minutes to
there. The speedboat will park at Eydhafushi that it is the capital city of Baa
Atoll. Then we have to take a speedboat about 15 minutes to our destination.
Baa Maalhos is a
small local island in Baa Atoll but beautiful and natural beaches. It is very
nice location for connecting to other islands such as sand bank, picnic
islands, snorkeling points, resort islands and domestic airport. There are not
many people and few tourist that it is private and very good for relaxing.
Also, people can speak English and they are very friendly. Especially, Haneef
and Areef who are the owner of the inn that we stay. Their service is very nice and help us to
manage the trip which provid us one day trip such as sand bank, picnic island,
snorkeling with manta or turtle, fishing, etc .
We stay at Dhonfulhafi Inn for 4 nights once we arrive
there the owner come to meet us at the speedboat station and take us by small
truck to the house. It is new, clean and comfortable. They give us the
refreshing towel and fresh coconut for welcome drink. If you go there 3 persons
but stay in the same room, they do not charge for the extra bed and provide you
with American breakfast or local breakfast as your order. The price per night
per room is 55$ no breakfast and 65$ include breakfast.

7 Jul 17 : We wake up early morning to see the
sunrise and walk around the island. Then, go to have local breakfast at the
restaurant on the beach. It is very
delicious food with fresh Tuna that was served by Haneef and Areef’s staff.
Also, they have lunch and dinner for tourist with cheap price. In the
afternoon, we take a speedboat to visit Dusit Thani Resort. There are water bungalows and luxury resorts,

8 Jul 17 : Haneef provide food and everything for us
for one day trip at sand bank, picnic island and snorkeling that it is very
nice trip. The beach is very beautiful with white sand and clear water and lots
of seagulls in both islands. Unfortunately, the weather is not good on that day
so we cannot see manta but we are really impress sand bank and picnic island.

9 Jul 17 : Early morning and relax on the beach, also
you can rent some equipment for snorkeling around that island without charge.
There are many fish, crabs and turtles around there so you can enjoy under the
water and on the beaches.
10 Jul 17 : We take a speedboat at 8.00 am. from Baa Maalhos to Eydhafushi about 15 minutes and Male about 2 hours because it is smooth sea on that day. When we arrive Male we walk to Sala Thai Restaurant for our lunch. After that, we walk for sightseeing Male and then go to the airport in Hulmale by public ferry. When we get off the ferry and look at the sea, OMG!!!! we see beautiful sunset again before we leave Maldives that we are very happy and impress that beautiful places. Our flight from Male to KL is 8.55 pm.-4.30 am. And we have time to sightseeing KL one day and back to BKK at 6.40-7.50 pm.
